Xcaret is a theme park located in the Riviera Maya, just south of Playa del Carmen. Xcaret tours are some of the most popular things to do in Cancun and Riviera Maya and this park is, without a doubt, one of our favorite places to spend a day.

Xcaret Park offers you a myriad of Playa del Carmen activities in a tour across the various regions of our country through music and dances. Your Xcaret Plus admission includes the night show “Xcaret Mexico Espectacular”, an impressive staging that will touch your heart.

In Xcaret Park you can see the replica of a pre-Columbian ballgame court, and see the game played just like the ancient Maya did. At the detailed replica of a Maya village in Xcaret you will witness rituals and live music and dance performances. With the jungle surrounding you the whole experience is just breath-taking! Snorkel an underground river, swim in the Mexican Caribbean Sea, surround yourself with butterflies and meet sharks, giant sea turtles and so much more!

Pick-up times depend on the location of your hotel (or meeting point)
The tour starts at 8:00 am *
You will be transported to a metting point to aboard your Trasnportation to the Park
There are some hotels (particularly those in downtown Cancun) where the transportation service is not available from/to the hotel lobby and you have to go to a nearby meeting point
Your pick-up schedule and more details on the transportation service are sent by email after booking
The minimum age for certain activities is 6 *
Kids up to 59 cm tall or under 4 years old enter free*
Children from 1.00 m to 1.40 m pay children fee*
Children taller than 1.40 m but under 12 years old must present a valid ID with photo to verify their age

Suggestions:

Wear comfortable beachwear, swimming shoes and a swimsuit
Bring an extra set of clothes
Your sunscreen lotion must be free of chemicals to be used in Xcaret.
If your sunscreen lotion contains any of the following ingredients it shall not be used within the park: benzophenone, etilhexil, homosalate, octyl methoxycinnamate, octyl salicylate, octinoxate, oxybenzone, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (sunscreen free of all these chemicals is sold at the park)
Bring some cash and a credit or debit card since the use of certain equipment requires a deposit or to pay for any other service not mentioned on the inclusions list
